PSHE
Nature, Nurture, Flourish and Fly our lived motto has PSHE built deep into its heart.
Our intention through the use of the Jigsaw scheme of work is to ensure that our children are mentally healthy, morally equipped and equipped as people to enter into an every changing society. Through pedagogy based around talking, conversation and challenging questions children will be prepared as they pass through the school to become strong members of our society. The focus on selected characteristics enables us to ensure children are fully prepared for life beyond Norfolk.
RSE is taught using the Christopher winter project planning. This planning meets the needs of our children by giving them the knowledge and understanding of the subject, whilst allowing for appropriate conversation and discussion. The resources used meet the needs of our rural community without being too far removed from the expectations of our families. All our parents are given the opportunity to view the resources in advance and are able to withdraw from appropriate sections.
